Starting from a Thonet-inspired base model, we built in our workshop the 52 seats that would fill the legendary Café La Unión, in the historic center of Madrid.

 

The project consisted of 3 double benches, 10 single benches, 19 chairs and 20 chairs with armrests.

 

The legs are assembled and glued to the seat frame, while the frame bands, armrests and backrests are attached to each other and to the rest of the elements using bolts.

 

Materials: Beech, bulrush .

 

Finishes: Judea bitumen, natural wax and synthetic polyurethane.
