I gained my Cabinet making degree in 2007 (Técnico Superior en desarrollo de Productos en Madera y mueble, IES V. de la Paloma, Madrid). Eversince I have been exploring different codes and approaches to it; both the most related to the fine arts and furniture design, and those other more pragmatic ones connected with the trade.

Encouraged by the economic crisis, in 2012 I moved to Vancouver, BC, where I reached within a whole new cultural format to woodworking. Becoming most certainly a definitive step forward in my career.

Social scientist

Along with my woodworking career I´ve also developed a remarkable academic background in the social science field (Politics and communication). Ignoring the old prejudice that claims an existing and inevitable distance between Academy and trade, I found myself immersed in the seek for the theoretical hints that explains the social order we live in.

Personal development

Apart from the need of growing a solid professional profile and as a result of all my personal concerns, I have been joining a bunch of varied projects:

In 2008, as a consequence of my vocation for public service, I started preparing the examinations to become a fire-fighter in Madrid, which I had to abandon in 2010 due to an unexpected injury in 2010.

In 2011 I joined the coop enterprise "Vaho, Objeto Erótico", online magazine and regular publication in which, through the artistic expressiveness and journalistic reflection, we developed a meaningful dialogue between the not always that simple relation that subjectively and socially we make of such concepts like sexuality and sensuality.

Already in Canada I got involved with two remarkable projects. In 2013 I volunteered with VASS (Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports) as an instructor for the downhill sky competition team.

The same year along with some fellows we began the "Spanish Party" project every two months until the summer of 2015. Consisting in gastronomic and ludic events aiming to promote the culture and business enterprises of the spanish emigrants in Vancouver.
